Lynne is an internationally renowned Pilates teacher, and is at the forefront of Pilates in the UK and across the world. She is firmly established as one of the world’s top-selling authors and presenters, and her books and videos are sold in over thirty countries. She is co-founder and director of the Body Control Pilates Academy, and is a director of the Body Control Pilates Association, Europe’s largest professional body for Pilates teachers. Body Control Pilates are the official provider of in-flight exercise for British Airways.
 
In the UK, the Times newspaper hailed her as “The Queen of Pilates” and London’s Evening Standard featured Lynne in their list of London’s top 300 ‘Power People’, recognising the impact that her work has had on general attitudes to fitness and on training techniques. Her clients have been as varied as Liz Hurley, Hugh Grant, Pat Cash and the England Cricket Team, and she has worked in conjunction with Kelloggs, Boots and 3mobile on fitness projects in the UK. She now works internationally, including consultancies at 5-star Spas and Resorts in Ireland, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malta and the US.
 
Co-author of thirteen best-selling books on the Pilates Method and presenter of nine Pilates DVDs, Lynne has now become an established media personality in the UK through her regular appearances on television and in the press. She has featured in Hello magazine, including a promotional cover mount of her Shape Up DVD, and has presented a feature on relaxation and exercise on Channel 5's Doctor Doctor programme. Lynne’s latest DVD is Total Pilates (2006), and her series of DVDs has recently been launched in the USA. Her most recent book was Pilates: A New Body in 28 Days (2005), which Health and Fitness magazine described as “as close as you can get to actual instruction without going along to classes”. Lynne’s new book, Pilates for Weight Loss, will be published by Kyle Cathie in the Autumn of 2008.
