Lauren Booth is a broadcaster and journalist, outspoken on issues as diverse as childhood vaccinations and the war in Iraq. She has presented programmes for television (Five, GMTV, ITV, BBC1) and radio (BBC LondonLive 94,9 FM) and guests on programmes across the media, from Loose Ends to Have I Got News for You, and regularly reviews the newspapers for Sky News, BBC1 and News 24.

Lauren currently hosts her own show on the Islam Channel, called In Focus, interviewing political figures from across the globe. She writes for the Mail on Sunday, Femail, The Sunday Times and the Independent on Sunday travel section. In 2005 and 2006 Lauren travelled to Palestine, where she interviewed Mahmoud Abbas. In 2007 she was invited to Lebanon by Al Manar TV. In 2008 she and a band of Palestine supporters landed in Gaza to draw attention to the plight of the people. She has given well-received speeches on the problems facing Palestinians for the Royal Geographical Society and Arab Media Watch, and at the House of Commons.
