Ali Spritzler is an Anglo-American poet, who now writes fiction and radio drama. She was born in Los Angeles, graduated from Sarah Lawrence College, New York, and has lived in Britain since 1987. Her poetry was first published in the Observer, and her poems were featured in Faber’s anthology First Pressings. She has ventured into radio drama for Radio 4, lyrics for Momus and Chester Kamen, and numerous articles for the Erotic Review. Her first novel is about New Russia and is called Only Everything; the writing has involved extensive investigative research, learning basic Russian and interviewing real life counterparts to her characters. She farms on the Hampshire/Sussex border with her husband and two small sons.
