Thom Madley is one of the pseudonyms of much-loved crime author Phil Rickman. Under the name Thom Madley, he started a series of contemporary mystery novels for teenagers, the first of which was called Marco’s Pendulum (2006). Enthralling and original, the critically acclaimed first book featured a boy battling supernatural phenomena in the town of Glastonbury. The series continued in 2007 with Marco and the Blade of Night, and there have been rumblings that a third book may appear in the not-too-distant future.
