The full ten-title backlist of Phil Rickman's much-loved Merrily Watkins series has been sold to Rowohlt Verlag in Germany. The first book, retitled FRUCTE DE SUNDE, will be published in May 2009, with the rest following in rapid succession. Rowohlt managing editor Marcus Gaertner is confident the series will prove a great success.

Series rights have also been bought by Nemira, one of Romania's largest publishing houses, and in Poland by PWRSA.
